SAN ANTONIO – According to the American Red Cross, seven people die every day from a home fire. The organization said home fires are the majority of the disasters they respond to.

Thanks to the contributions from generous donors and supporters, the Red Cross can provide and deliver dependable aid in disasters big and small. Provisions supplied by the Red Cross come in the form of overnight shelter stays, meals and snacks as well as health, mental health services and emergency supplies.
