The Senate Committee on Jurisprudence will consider the
following:




SB 387         Zaffirini               

Relating to bond requirements for certain judges.



SB 1650        Flores                   

Relating to the authority of the attorney general to prosecute certain
criminal offenses against public order.



SB 1838        Zaffirini               

Relating to the appointment of attorneys ad litem and the compensation of
certain attorneys ad litem in suits affecting the parent-child relationship
filed by a governmental entity.



SB 1839        Zaffirini               

Relating to the delivery of a will in probate proceedings transferred to
other courts.



SB 1923        West                     

Relating to the modification of a court order based on a parental child
safety placement agreement or an authorization agreement with an adult
caregiver.



SB 1940        Hughes                   

Relating to authorizing a beneficiary designation that transfers a
manufactured home classified as personal property at the owner’s death.



SB 2052        Birdwell                 

Relating to the determination of the best interest of the child in certain
suits affecting the parent-child relationship.



Public testimony will be limited to 2 minutes. If
submitting written

testimony, please provide 25 copies to the committee
clerk with your name

and the bill number on each copy.
