Kamala Harris’ Scoff at Idea of Terrorists Crossing Border Reveals Dangerous Level of Incompetence

Since Vice President Kamala Harris became the Democrat Party’s presumptive presidential nominee, the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, otherwise known as the media, has been twisting itself into pretzels to scrub Harris’ ultra-left-wing record. The obvious question for the media would be: If her record is so stellar, why the need to sanitize it? The answer is, of course, because it isn’t, and they know it. One of the latest tidbits to get past the giant media eraser is something that should anger and terrify every American about a possible Harris presidency.

In February of 2019, then-Senator and presidential candidate Kamala Harris was in New Hampshire and sat down for an interview with WMUR-TV. During that interview, Harris derided then-President Donald Trump’s notion that a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico was essential to keep illegal immigrants, including terrorists, from crossing into the country. Harris made this wildly naive and dangerous statement.

“It’s the height of irresponsibility. For the Commander in Chief to suggest that we have to build a wall across our southern border because there are terrorists who are trying to invade the country, it couldn’t be farther from the truth.”

As if that wasn’t enough, Harris went on to call the wall a “vanity project” for Trump and claimed that the border situation was a “cr isis of the president’s own making.” She added, “We don’t need to build a wall. It is not an emergency.”

At the time, Harris was right. She and President Joe Biden inherited a locked-down southern border with the number of suspected terrorists attempting to enter the country at nearly zero. Fast forward five years. The non-emergency that eventual border czar Harris dismissed is now unquestionably a full-scale invasion. The number of suspected terrorists attempting to enter the U.S. illegally has spiked a whopping 2,500 percent during the Biden-Harris administration. So far, in Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 alone, there have been 93.

Terrorists invading the country couldn’t be farther from the truth, huh? Here is the truth. In June, eight Tajik nationals with alleged ties to ISIS were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in New York City, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. Every one of them entered the country through the southern border. There is also the case of Mohammad Kharwin. Kharwin crossed into the U.S. from Afghanistan near San Ysidro, California, in 2023 and was placed into a government monitoring program called Alternatives to Detention. However, for unknown reasons, he was taken off the program and allowed to roam the country for almost a year. Authorities later discovered his possible ties to a terror group called Hezb-e-Islami, a U.S.-designated terrorist group. Great work, border czar Harris.

It might not be a “truth” that border czar Harris can fathom, but the reality is that the entire world knows there is a “welcome” sign at the U.S. border. Illegal immigrants are pouring in not just from Central America but from places like Russia and China, many of them single adult military-aged men. In June, at a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee hearing, FBI Director Christopher Wray sounded the alarm once again and stated bluntly,

“Looking back over my career in law enforcement, I’d be hard pressed to think of a time when so many different threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated all at once, but that is the case as I sit here today.”

Kamala Harris is currently enjoying a honeymoon period at the initial stage of her candidacy. But horribly naive and dangerous positions like this reveal a level of incompetence that is staggering. If Wray’s statement does not shock Vice President Harris into some level of reality, the thought of her being in charge is even more terrifying. Many people believe that the border invasion has been planned and organized by the Biden-Harris administration. That would put Kamala Harris’ job as border czar in a whole different light.
