How do you know that Kamala Harris’ campaign is stuck in struggle mode and needs to be saved by the media? By this fast-tracked Vogue cover that was previewed by the magazine Friday morning, and it comes with a fawning article touting her as the “candidate for our times.”

The announcement by the fashion tome was as vomit-inducing as you’d expect:
“Only rarely are individuals summoned for acts of national rescue, but in July, Vice President Kamala Harris received one of those calls. With President Joe Biden’s decision to end his reelection campaign, the world looked to Harris with hopes and doubts.”
It gets worse. The photo was taken by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz at the vice presidential residence in Washington, D.C., on, wait for it, October 7. This is straight from the top of the Vogue article:

She thought that October 7, the one-year anniversary of the massacre in Israel, was the right day to get all dolled up and pretend she’s some sort of fashion icon? This speaks directly to the incredibly tone-deaf ways and poor judgment that have come to define Kamala Harris. And it’s precisely because of her repeated missteps that the media is trying to come to her rescue.

Here’s what else Kamala got up to on October 7, as reported by RedState:
Kamala Harris, sitting vice president of the administration under whom the massacre took place, marked the anniversary by planting a tree at the Vice President’s Residence at the Naval Observatory in DC. She also made remarks that described the brutality of Hamas terrorists that day as “an act of pure evil” while also lamenting the need to “relieve the immense suffering of innocent Palestinians in Gaza who have experienced so much pain and loss over the year.”
People are taking notice of the fact that Kamala prioritized sycophantic media coverage over the solemn anniversary.
And then there’s this:
If you’re brave enough to click through to the Vogue article, you’ll be treated to a hilarious picture of dowdy Liz Cheney sitting with dowdy Kamala, both in their trademark pantsuits. The thought that these two fashion-don’ts are the epitome of female power and style is beyond ridiculous, and it’s frankly embarrassing and a tad shameful for Vogue to even imply it.
What in the world happened to Vogue? They used to be a reliable guilty pleasure with glossy pages full of fun and exotic fashions, and now they’ve reduced themselves to pathetic Democrat Party mouthpieces. This isn’t the first time Kamala has been a Vogue cover girl; they did a feature on her back in February 2021 with the headline, “By the People, For the People: The United States of Fashion.”

Let’s be honest here: No American woman is looking to Kamala Harris for fashion inspiration, and she’s even less inspiring when it comes to political prowess. The media is doing their darnedest to distract from the fact that Kamala Harris is a walking disaster of a candidate, and stunts like this Vogue cover are unlikely to revive her sickly campaign.
