We’ve seen a lot of bad responses from the left when it comes to the United Healthcare CEO shooter.
Some seem to think such a thing is somehow good, because they’re upset about insurance. You had people like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) doing one of these “it’s wrong, but…” things, and Taylor Lorenz talking about feeling “joy,” then trying to backpedal.

But I have to say one of the worst remarks I’ve seen was the vile take of comedian Margaret Cho.
She was at the “Out 100” event in Los Angeles and she was asked, “What are you holding space for right now?”
“The United Healthcare CEO shooter,” she said as the interviewer roared with laughter.
“I’m hold space for — as most people I know are. We’re holding space for those eyebrows, that body, the abs,” she said as the interviewer continued to laugh.
Wow, that’s about as vile as you can get, crushing all over a man charged with murder because you think he’s cute. Talk about the disgusting and shallow left, that’s a great example, trying to turn an accused murderer into a hero and an object of affection. Um, Margaret? Allegedly shooting a man in the back is not funny, praiseworthy, or anything anyone with an ounce of caring “holds space for.”

She notes that it’s not just her, but “most” of the people she knows. Now, even given that she probably hangs out with other liberals, that’s still pretty bad that these folks think this way. It shows a truly twisted understanding of right and wrong, if this is what they truly think.
The United Healthcare CEO had a wife and kids. Does that even enter into their thoughts? What do they think the children would think if they happened to catch these comments from Cho talking like this about the killer of their father? But she obviously didn’t give it a second thought or doesn’t care.
Then, too, how bizarre that you have folks on the left simping for this guy — who many of them might normally be attacking because he’s from a rich family. Then what happened to the rant against guns that the left usually would have after a shooting? That seems to have gone missing here. This reaction from the left shows how disgusting they can be.
Unfortunately for Cho, she’s never been funny, and that’s not a good thing when you’re supposed to be a comedian. The celebration of this guy by the left is truly gross.
