FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Thunderstorms have dissipated but light rain lingers in some areas
  • Low to mid 90s next 10 days
  • Rain chances continue through Labor Day weekend
FORECAST:

Tomorrow will be similar to today with pop-up showers likely from lunchtime through sunset, and although not everyone will get hit, the luckiest neighborhoods could get a quick inch or more of rain.

Isolated showers and non-severe storms are possible daily, but the chances are lowest Thursday through Saturday as the upper-level support decreases.

A weak front is possible this weekend, which provides better odds this holiday weekend and into next week. Don’t change any plans for Labor Day, just be aware you might have to dodge a quick shower.

Bottom line, the “heat high” has broken down with no signs of returning over the next 10 days. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s each morning, and low to mid 90s in the afternoons.
