A couple of the cast members shared photos on social media with Stapleton backstage ahead of his concert at Globe Life Field this weekend.
ARLINGTON, Texas — Some of the cast of Taylor Sheridan’s show “Lioness, ” filming in Fort Worth, hung out with Chris Stapleton before his recent concert in North Texas.
The Paramount+ drama series was recently renewed for a second season. As the Star-Telegram reported, filming has been ongoing around Fort Worth this month. The show has a star-studded cast that includes Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman.
LaMonica Garrett, who plays Tucker on the show, shared a photo on Instagram of some of the cast backstage with Stapleton before his concert this past weekend at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
Some of Garrett’s castmates in the photo included Saldana, Jill Wagner, Laysla De Oliveira, Jonah Wharton, Genesis Rodriguez, Thad Luckinbill and Austin Hebert.
Rodriguez also took to social media after the concert to sing Stapleton’s praises.
“Chris Stapleton fan here…Still thinking of his voice. And his sound,” she wrote.
A release date for the second season of “Lioness” hasn’t been announced.
In addition to “Lioness”, Sheridan’s slate on Paramount+ includes “Tulsa King,” “Mayor of Kingstown” and “Landman” which are all in production.
