Man, 39, dies after northeast Bexar County shooting, BCSO says

  

SAN ANTONIO – An investigation is underway after deputies found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in northeast Bexar County, according to the sheriff’s office.

The incident happened around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 6800 block of Oldham Drive.

Upon arrival, deputies searched the area and found a man critically wounded with gunshot wounds, BCSO told KSAT.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were attempting to save the man’s life.

Witnesses told deputies that they saw several men flee from the area on foot after the shooting.

The shooter or shooters have not been located, the sheriff’s office said.

However, a KSAT crew saw a man taken into custody one street over from the scene. It’s unknown whether he was involved in the shooting.
