SAN ANTONIO – A man was arrested for shooting into a group of bikers outside a Northeast Side bar, seriously injuring two of them, according to court documents.
Bexar County Jail records show Keith Lamane Henley, 45, was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
An arrest warrant affidavit states that the shooting on May 14 at Sir Winston’s Pub in the 2500 block of Nacogdoches Road happened after a confrontation between a group of bikers and Henley, who was at the location with a woman.
At some point, a physical altercation erupted inside the location and the group threatened to kill Henley if he didn’t leave, a witness told police. The group was allegedly armed with guns.
Police said Henley and the woman exited the bar, but he went to his car to retrieve a gun.
He then walked back to the front door where the bikers were standing and opened fire, the affidavit states.
One man was shot in the head and another man was shot in his stomach. They were both taken to the hospital.
Police officers at the scene said more than 50 gunshots rang out during the altercation.
The gunman and the woman fled in a red vehicle, police said.
The affidavit states that police received an anonymous tip that identified Henley and the woman that was with him.
A warrant for his arrest was signed in late August. Records show his bond is set at $150,000.
