According to police, no suspect has been identified.
GREENVILLE, Texas — The Greenville Police Department is investigating after a man was found dead during a welfare check Saturday morning.
According to a news release from the department, officers responded to a home in the 4200 block of Washington Street at around 2:44 a.m. after someone called and said the door to the home was open.
Police said when officers arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds dead inside the home.
Greenville PD said no suspect has been identified yet and ask anyone with information to contact the department.
