Man hospitalized after shooting in Fort Worth, police say

 

According to Fort Worth police, a man was shot after he was confronted by a suspect in his house.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A man was hospitalized Tuesday night after a shooting in Fort Worth, police said.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the shooting happened before 8 p.m. Tuesday. The male suspect entered the victim’s home in the 2800 block of Avenue K, confronted him and shot the victim once in the torso, police said.

Fort Worth PD said the suspect then ran off, and the victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The victim was in stable condition at last check, according to police.

According to FWPD, the department’s gang unit and gun violence unit are investigating.
