Man injured after over 40 shots fired during Northwest Side drive-by, SAPD says

  

SAN ANTONIO – A man was injured after over 40 shots were fired during a drive-by shooting on the Northwest Side, according to San Antonio police.

The man was sitting on the front porch of a home in the 1400 block of West Woodlawn Avenue just before 10 p.m. Monday.

A blue sedan pulled in front of the house and began firing toward it, striking the man in the leg, police said.

Over 40 shots were fired, some from different weapons, according to police.

The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

SAPD detectives are investigating and looking for the vehicle.

Information on the weapons fired, or descriptions of those inside the vehicle are unclear.
