SAN ANTONIO – A man was sentenced to 10 years in prison in connecti on with an injury to the elderly case.
Jose Gonzalez assaulted an 80-year-old man who was working on his vehicle on March 25, 2024.

Gonzalez was offended by something that he had imagined the man had said to him, according to a press release.
The older man was ultimately struck in his face by Gonzalez, which caused him to fall on the concrete.
The release said the 80-year-old was hospitalized after being seriously injured.
