SAN ANTONIO – A man in his 30s is hospitalized after being stabbed during an altercation at a West Side home early Wednesday morning, according to San Antonio police.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. at a home in the 2300 block of West Poplar Street, not far from North Zarzamora Street and North Hamilton Avenue.
According to police, the suspect and the victim both live at the house and had gotten into a fight. That’s when, police say, the victim was stabbed multiple times in his arms and legs.
The victim was taken by EMS to University Hospital, where he is currently listed as stable. The suspect fled on foot before officers arrived and has not yet been found, police said.
The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all answered the call.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
