SAN ANTONIO – A 62-year-old man suffered a medical episode before a crash on Loop 410 early Friday morning, according to San Antonio police.
The crash occurred just before 6:30 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Loop 410 near Jackson Keller, according to Transguide.
A preliminary report from SAPD said the man rear-ended another vehicle before crashing into a barrier. The second driver was not injured.
Police and other first responders were performing CPR on the man, but SAPD said in its report the man died.
Two main lanes and a shoulder were blocked near the crash but have since reopened.
