Doncic could be seen limping to the locker room just before halftime.
DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks will have to finish their Christmas Day matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves without Luka Doncic after he suffered a calf injury in the second quarter.
Doncic, who recorded 14 points in the first half before exiting, appeared to hurt himself when making a step-back motion. He then proceeded to grimace, give up the ball to Kyrie Irving, and gingerly walk away towards the sideline.
According to a report from ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Doncic will not return for the second half of the game as he suffered a left calf strain.
The Mavs are currently down 57-40 at halftime.
