TEXAS (KXAN) — McDonald’s spinoff concept CosMc’s has reached Texas.
The first Texas restaurant opened Tuesday in Dallas, according to the company’s social media. This marks the second CosMc’s opening in the country.
CosMc’s menu includes some traditional McDonald’s items like McFlurrys and McMuffins as well as new items like “Signature Galactic Boosts,” slushes, snack bites and more.
Drinks are customizable with boba, flavor syrups, energy shots, Vitamin C shots and other options, according to the company.
The new beverage-focused concept was announced in 2023 with hopes of attracting coffee and beverage enthusiasts. The first location opened Dec. 9 in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Last December, McDonald’s said it plans to open 10 pilot locations by the end of 2024 with more expected in the Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio metro areas.
The Dallas location is at 6033 Campbell Road and has walk-up and drive-thru ordering, according to CosMc’s.
