The Midland Development Corp. will vote Monday on $3.24 million in incentive funds for the City of Midland for its construction of a wastewater main extension along State Highway 191.
“The board of directors finds it to be in the public interest to authorize the execution of an economic development agreement with the City of Midland for the State Highway 191 Wastewater Main Extension Project,” according to language from the economic development agreement.
The extension, according to MDC agenda packet information, appears to start near the intersection of state highways 191 and 158 and move westward.
“The project will facilitate commercial and industrial development in the City of Midland,” the agreement states.
The Midland Development Corp. meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday inside the Midland Chamber of Commerce board room, 303 W. Wall St., suite 200.

2. Motion approving the minutes of the Feb. 6, 2023, meeting of the Midland Development Corp.
3. Resolution authorizing the execution of an economic development agreement with the City of Midland for the State Highway 191 wastewater main extension project; and authorizing payment therefor.
