The new 17,000-square-foot clinic will help treat patients having issues with their arteries, veins and lymphatics.
Nearly 30% of the U.S. population suffers from vein and lymphatic disease, including over a million people in San Antonio, as vein disease is more prevalent among Hispanics, according to a news release.
“We [Medical Vein Clinic] are the only medical provider in San Antonio with the most advanced, highly sensitive ultrasound built specifically for diagnosing artery, vein and lymphatic disease in the legs,” said Doctor John S. Hogg, the founder of Medical Vein Clinic. “With this equipment, we’ve detected blood clots on routine patient examinations and, undoubtedly, saved lives.”
Medical Vein Clinic opened their first location in 2017 and has served more than 50,000 patients in the community. The other clinic is located in the Alamo Ranch area, near Loop 1604 and Highway 151.
