SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a man who his 14-year-old stepdaughter fatally stabbed.
Ray Allen Hardy Jr., 53, whose death is being investigated as a homicide, died from sharp force injuries, according to the ME’s office.
San Antonio police said officers responded to the call around 6:20 p.m. Monday to the 300 block of Stutts Drive on the East Side.
Police said the girl’s mother called her into a room during a verbal altercation with Hardy.
The teen then pulled out a bladed object and stabbed Hardy, SAPD said.
Upon arrival, officers found Hardy inside a house on the property with stab wounds to his neck and face area, SAPD said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 14-year-old was found inside another house on the property. SAPD told KSAT that she cooperated with the officers.
The teen was taken into custody for charges related to family violence after further investigation. SAPD later confirmed the girl was charged with murder.
