A Mexican steakhouse is set to debut in Dallas.
Toca Madera will open its doors in Dallas’ East Quarter area at 2203 Commerce Street. The East Quarter is a nook between Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood and the Dallas Farmers Market.
The restaurant will span 13,221 square feet and fit 415 guests across a main dining room and outdoor patio.
Noble 33, the restaurant’s Miami-based hospitality firm, will begin developing the space early this year for a 2026 opening. Toca Madera Dallas will be the firm’s second Texas location after opening in Houston in 2024 .
“This will be the sixth location and one of the largest footprints in the Toca Madera portfolio – a testament to Dallas’s international flair and rich culture,” said Mikey Tanha, co-founder and CEO of Noble 33. “Bringing our version of a Mexico City Steakhouse to the great city of Dallas has been a longtime goal, and we can’t wait for residents to enjoy the unique and immersive Toca Madera dining experience.”
Toca Madera Dallas will boast full-service bars, a lounge, a private members’ speakeasy and a private dining room. The menu, curated by executive chef Martin Heierling, fuses tastes from Mexico City with the dining experience of a modern steakhouse.
However, this steakhouse has fire performers. Plus, live music and resident DJs.
Menu items include a rose-shaped sashimi Mexicano, A5 Wagyu tacos, and a flaming Tomahawk presented and sliced by Heierling tableside. A dynamic beverage menu will also be available.
The design of the space includes velvet upholsteries and low lighting in addition to an immersive art piece encapsulating the lounge area in a nest-like structure of greenery.
Toca Madera first opened in 2015 in West Hollywood. Since then, the Mexican steakhouse has opened locations in Las Vegas, Scottsdale and Houston. A location in Miami is on tap for this fall.
