Michelle Montaine joined WFAA 8 Dallas-Fort Worth in June 2024 as a sports reporter.
Montaine comes from NewsChannel 8 KTUL in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she was a sports reporter and host.
Before joining KTUL, Montaine also worked as a Digital Host for Sports Illustrated, an In-Game Reporter for the Colorado Mammoth, and a freelance sports reporter.
The University of Texas at Austin grad with a civil engineering degree and a minor in Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Analysis might stand out in the TV news world.
She interned for the Dow Chemical Company and worked for consulting firm Accenture for four years.
“Not long after, I decided to pursue the career I always dreamed of: Sports Broadcasting,” Montaine said in her channel 8 bio. “A few years, and a whole lot of sleepless nights later, I landed my first full-time job in the industry. Now, I can’t imagine ever going back!”
