A father and his two sons who went missing on Tuesday have been found safe in Texas.Detectives in Anderson County, South Carolina, reported a father and his two sons went missing Tuesday morning. Detectives learned the father, James Brewington, has ties to Texas and headed that way after authorities found his green Ford F350 abandoned in Belton on Wednesday morning.The family was spotted getting into a Ford Edge with a North Carolina license plate a short time later, making their way out of state toward Texas.Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division tracked Brewington, then requested assistance from Texas Rangers and Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office to locate Brewington.Brewington was taken into custody in Kemp, Texas, with his sons deemed safe and unharmed just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
