FORECAST
RAIN & STORMS TONIGHT
Widespread rain has developed and a few storms are possible as well through about 4am. All the rain should be gone by the morning commute, but areas of fog and wet roads will linger until a few hours after sunrise when the sky clears.
While rainfall totals won’t be uniform across the board, generally 0.25″-0.5″ is expected around San Antonio with localized pockets of 1″+ where thunderstorms happen to develop.
CLEARING & WARM WEDNESDAY
After some patchy morning fog, clouds will clear out by midday tomorrow, setting the stage for a warm afternoon in the upper 70s/near 80°, but don’t get used to it…
MUCH COLDER THURSDAY
A cold front will slide through Wednesday night, dropping temperatures in a BIG way. By Thursday morning, we’ll fall to 40°, and jackets will be needed all day with highs only near 50°.
COOL FOR VALENTINES DAY
While we will rebound a bit on Friday, mostly cloudy skies will keep conditions cool. You can expect highs in the 50s.
MORE CHANGES THIS WEEKEND
Warmth returns Saturday as morning fog quickly gives way to vast sunshine most of the day pushing temperatures near 80°.
Then yet another strong cold front arrives Saturday night dropping temperatures into Sunday.
As we’ve been mentioning, this will be a week to pay attention to the forecast daily with these ups and downs in the forecast. We’ll keep you posted!
