FORECAST:
After dropping 1″-2″ of rain in spots today, the scattered downpours have come to an end with just an isolated shower possible early in the morning.
Rain chances rise again after 11am tomorrow with scattered, random downpours in the midday and afternoon hours. There could be some lightning and thunder but no severe weather.
We can’t rule out a few showers on Sunday, but if anything develops, the coverage will be very limited.
Monday and Tuesday look dry, then a weak frontal boundary could help trigger showers Wednesday through Friday of next week.
Temperatures remain below triple digits with highs mostly in the mid 90s.
SAHARAN DUST:
A plume of Saharan dust is forecast to move into the South Central Texas sky today and into the weekend. You’ll notice skies being a bit hazier, especially at sunrises and sunsets.
We’ll keep you posted on any changes. Until then — have a great Friday and weekend!
