FORECAST:
“Heat and repeat” is our new saying for this weather pattern, and it’ll be relevant for the next week or two. Expect mornings near 80° and afternoons up to 102° (warmer near Rio Grande).
Unfortunately, rainfall remains elusive with insignificant chances in the days ahead. Mainly, a 10% chance early next week and that’s it (sorry!).
Hurricane Ernesto strengthens as it moves toward Bermuda and will have a direct impact on the island Friday through the weekend. Thereafter it will keep moving north while gradually weakening, then brush against far Eastern Canada before emerging in the North Atlantic and decaying.
