The accident happened around 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, according to police.
DALLAS — A man died in an accident on LBJ Freeway near the High Five on Sund ay, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Around 2:40 p.m., a man driving a black motorcycle at a high rate of speed crashed into the back of a white dump truck eastbound on LBJ Freeway between Abrams Road and Greenville Avenue, DPD said. Police said the dump truck was driving in the right center lane of the four-lane roadway.
As police investigated the accident, lanes were blocked and traffic was directed onto TI Boulevard, TxDOT cameras showed.
