FORECAST DETAILS

Hope you’ve had a great weekend!

After record warmth Sunday afternoon in San Antonio, evening plans will be breezy with temperatures falling through the 80s and into the 70s after sunset – which occurs at 5:45 p.m. now that daylight saving time has come to an end!

Monday will once again start off warm and muggy with patchy drizzle, before more peeks of sunshine return in the afternoon and highs reach for the mid-80s. Changes, however, arrive Monday night as a cold front starts to seep into South Central Texas.

Patchy drizzle will be possible Monday morning, ahead of a warm and breezy afternoon.

A broken line of rain and storms is expected to form ahead of the front. Not everyone will see rain, but best chances look to be in areas along and east of I-35 after 6 p.m. Monday evening.

A cold front will push into South Central Texas Monday night.

Severe weather is not overly expected, but it’s worth mentioning that an isolated storm or two could be strong, capable of small hail, gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and lightning.

A few lingering showers will be possible first thing Tuesday morning (especially out east), before a beautiful afternoon takes over with highs in the mid-70s, clearing skies, and lower humidity.

Lows will bottom out in the 50s early Wednesday before more moisture returns by Wednesday night and temperatures warm back up through the second half of the week. However, there are indications that another front could push through ahead of next weekend, so we’ll keep you posted on that in the days ahead.

Until then — have a great week!
