A stately home for sale in a luxurious part of North Dallas has seen a price cut in order to generate interest in a post-election housing market.

The new build at 4527 N. Lindhurst Ave. hit the market more than two months ago at $12 million but the asking price was reduced to about $11.5 million on Nov. 13, or about $1,302 per square foot.

Listing agent Meridith Hayes with Compass said the cut has brought fresh interest as the housing market emerges from an election season slowdown.

The home boasts five bedrooms, five bathrooms and three half-baths across 8,833 square feet. The new construction highlights a contemporary interior where its designer finishes steal the show.

Someone who loves modern architecture and privacy would be the ideal buyer, Hayes said. The property sits on a 0.8-acre lot and is in a quiet spot near the end of a cul-de-sac.

Amenities at 4527 N. Lindhurst Ave. include a gourmet kitchen, sauna and pool that was completed in September.

The home is off Walnut Hill Lane, west of the Park Cities and Old Preston Hollow. It’s also not far from popular dining and retail destinations such as Preston Hollow Village and the NorthPark Center.
