DALLAS — Dallas’ own Sha’Carri Richardson graced America’s television screens on Super Bowl Sunday.
Richardson starred in a Nike ad titled “So Win.” which highlighted female athletes at the top of their games. Richardson was featured prominently in the opening shot of the ad, making a handful of appearances thereafter alongside basketball stars A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu and Juju Watkins and Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, among other athletes.
The ad was narrated by rapper Doechii, who recently came home with a win at the Grammys and will join Richardson on this year’s MET Gala host committee. The ad commented on the criticisms faced by women in sports and shattered them saying “You Can’t Win. So Win.”
Richardson has been a Nike athlete since she started her professional running career in 2019. She even sported a pair of Nike Air Force 1s on the cover of Vogue in 2024.
Richardson was born and raised in Dallas, competing in high school at Carter High School, where her name now hangs above their track facility.
