According to officials, the closures will last through Thursday, Jan. 15.
FORT WORTH, Texas — Drivers in Fort Worth should expect delays Wednesday and Thursday night as construction activities will cause multiple closures on Interstate 820.
According to South-Point Constructors, northbound I-820 will be fully closed at Martin Steet on both Wednesday, Jan. 15, and Thursday, Jan. 16, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
South-Point Constructors said all northbound traffic will detour to the frontage road and re-enter I-820 at Berry Street.

In addition, the eastbound I-20 interchange ramp to northbound I-820 will also be closed nightly. Traffic will detour to a U-turn at Green Oaks Boulevard.

“Drivers should plan accordingly and add extra time to their commute,” South-Point Constructors said in a press release. “Drivers are reminded that the speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph throughout the Southeast Connector corridor. Please note all construction work is dependent on weather conditions.”
