Hope you’re having a great start to the weekend!
KEY POINTS:
-
High pressure building back in
-
Mid-90s through the upcoming week
-
Only stray storm chances, most missing out each day
FORECAST DETAILS:
High pressure is moving back in, meaning after a few healthy rounds of rain this past week, we’ll be returning to a more typical summer-like pattern in the days ahead.
Sunday starts off in the mid-70s before highs reach for the mid-90s in the afternoon under partly cloudy skies. When you factor in the humidity, heat indices will likely climb into the low triple digits (around 102°) in San Antonio for a few hours.
A stray shower (~ 10% chance) can’t be ruled out Sunday afternoon, but the vast majority of us will unfortunately miss out.
More of the same is generally on repeat through the upcoming week, with the forecast mainly featuring highs in the mid-90s, partly cloudy skies, and just isolated rain chances.
AN UPDATE ON THE GULF
You may have seen the National Hurricane Center is still monitoring the Southwestern Gulf again as another disturbance approaches Mexico. While there is a moderate chance of it developing into a tropical system, this time impacts and more notable rain chances will stay south of the San Antonio area.
We’ll keep you posted! Have a great evening. 😊 ~ Mia
