CASS COUNTY, Texas — Officials are investigating after a man riding an electric bike was killed in a hit-and-run in Cass County this week.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Lester Howell was riding an electric bike when he was struck between 7:30 and 10:00 p.m. Wednesday in the southbound lane of US Highway 59 and County Road 3658 in Cass County.
Those who have information are asked to call the Linden Highway Patrol office at 430-218-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 903-793-7867. The Crime Stoppers tip can be anonymous, and a tip leading to an arrest may qualify for a cash reward.
