According to police, the suspect fled the scene.
FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was killed in a shooting Friday evening in Fort Worth, police said.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, officers responded to the 1600 block of Glasgow Road around 5:45 p.m. to the report of a shooting.
Police said when officers arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound in his upper torso.
Fort Worth PD said medical personnel arrived at the scene and performed life-saving measures, however, the victim did not survive.
According to police, detectives found that multiple people were involved in a verbal and physical fight when the suspect fired a single shot at the victim.
Police said the suspect fled the scene after the shooting.
Fort Worth PD said the Homicide Unit is investigating and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner will identify the victim at a later time.
