According to Arlington firefighters, one person died in a one-story house fire on Bayonne Court.
ARLINGTON, Texas — One person is dead after an Arlington house fire, officials said.
Arlington Fire Department officials said firefighters responded to a heavy fire at a one-story home on Bayonne Court on Sunday and heard reports that people were trapped inside.
Firefighters found one person at the back of the home trying to get back in, officials said. That person suffered smoke inhalation and was treated on the scene.
AFD said they found another person inside the home who died. Fire officials said no firefighters were hurt during the rescue efforts.
