One person found dead after alleged road rage shooting, Fort Worth police say

 

Fort Worth Police found a man with a gunshot wound in the area of E. Loop 820 and Meadowbrook Monday evening.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A man was found dead in Fort Worth after an alleged road rage incident Monday evening, police said. 

Around 6:40 p.m. officers responded to a traffic hazard call in the area of East Loop 820 and Meadowbrook Drive, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

Police said they found the victim inside a gray vehicle with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

No one is in custody, FWPD said. 

Traffic cameras showed a major backup as officers were investigating what they believed to be a “road rage incident.”
