ARLINGTON, Texas — One person is in custody after an armed robbery in Arlington Friday night, police announced.

According to the Arlington Police Department, officers responded to reports of an armed robbery in the 600 block of W. Pioneer Parkway. Police confirmed shots were fired, but did not clarify who fired them or if the suspect was injured.

According to a statement from the Texas Municipal Police Association, the incident was an officer-involved shooting.

APD said no officers were hurt and one suspect was in custody.
