New England has made its fourth selection in this year’s draft.
The New England Patriots have made their fourth pick in this year’s NFL Draft. With the 103rd overall selection in the fourth round, they acquired guard Layden Robinson out of Texas A&M.
Robinson, 22, appeared in 44 total games with 33 starts during his five-year career with the Aggies. Primarily a right guard at the college level, he was measured at 6-foot-3, 302 pounds at the Scouting Combine.
Robinson is the latest mid-round interior offensive lineman to join the Patriots. Just last year, the team invested a total of three mid-round picks to bolster its depth up front, adding Jake Andrews, Sidy Sow and Atonio Mafi.
The Patriots now have selected four players in this year’s draft. They brought North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye aboard with the third overall pick in the first round on Thursday, and on Friday added wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk and offensive tackle Caedan Wallace in the second and third rounds, respectively.
New England is next scheduled to be on the clock at No. 110 later in the fourth round.
