Pedestrian hit and killed on I-35W toll lanes near downtown Fort Worth, police say

FORT WORTH, Texas — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on the Interstate 35W TEXpress lanes near downtown Fort Worth on Tuesday morning, police said.

The crash happened shortly before 4:30 a.m. in the southbound toll lanes near Belknap Street, where Texas 121 connects to I-35W, according to a police update.

The main lanes of the highway were cleared, but police were expecting the toll lanes to be impacted through the morning rush hours.
