SAN ANTONIO – A pedestrian walking in an unmarked crosswalk was struck and killed by a truck, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened before 8 p.m. on Saturday on the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 90.

According to SAPD, the pedestrian was walking across an unmarked crosswalk when a truck traveling westbound hit the victim.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where they later died, police said in a preliminary report on Sunday.
San Antonio police said the driver showed no signs of intoxication, and no criminal elements were involved in the crash.
