PHOTOS: First major severe storm system of 2025 rolls through Central Texas

  

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The first major severe storm system of the year rolled through Central Texas Sunday night, bringing heavy rain, large hail and lots of lightning.

Twenty Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued across the 15-county KXAN viewing area, the most in a single day since last April.

KXAN viewers across the area sent in photos and videos showing conditions in their area.
