Pizza Inn will close its Dallas location after 25 years, the restaurant announced.
DALLAS — Pizza Inn’s Dallas location will close after 25 years in business, the restaurant announced Friday.
Pizza Inn, which was founded by two brothers accross from SMU’s campus in 1958, has dozens of locations across the southern U.S. The Old East Dallas location is the last Pizza Inn restaurant in Dallas proper, according to Pizza Inn’s website.
‘It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you, our awesome and loyal customers that January will be our last month of operation,” Pizza Inn Dallas wrote on Facebook.
Fans of the chain can still visit locations in Mesquite, Duncanville, North Richland Hills, and Midlothian, according to the Facebook post.
Pizza Inn created the taco pizza, dessert pizza and bacon cheeseburger pizza, according to the restaurant’s website.
