FORT WORTH, Texas — Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect caught on camera robbing a vape store, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
On Tuesday around 11:30 p.m., a suspect entered Vape City at 6435 McCart Ave. in Fort Worth. Surveillance video released by police shows the suspect’s interaction with the store’s employee.
The suspect waited until other customers left the store and approached the register, police say. Instead of paying for the merchandise, the suspect pulled out a black handgun, racked it and demanded the money from the register while pointing the weapon at the employee. The suspect then ran away into a nearby neighborhood, according to police.
The suspect is a Hispanic male, between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet and 8 inches tall, wearing a black hoody and pants. He is wanted for Aggravated Robbery and the report number is #240033619.
