Police investigating after East Texas 5-year-old boy dies

   

Both are held in the Bi-State Justice Center and a bond has not been set.

TEXARKANA, Texas — Two people have been arrested after their 5-year-old boy died.

According to the Texarkana Texas Police Department, Terry Robinson, 35, and Destiny Culvahouse, 24, are now in custody after their child died Friday night. 

Robinson is charged with capital murder. Culvahouse is charged with child with serious bodily injury or death. Both are held in the Bi-State Justice Center and a bond has not been set. 

Around 2 p.m. Friday, officers were called to an apartment in the 3300 block of Nichols Dr. on reports of a child not breathing. When police arrived on scene, they began CPR and the boy was taken to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
