Police responded to the shooting call in the 2600 block of Frankford Road Thursday afternoon.
DALLAS — Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed in Far North Dallas Thursday, officials say.
Officers responded to the 2600 block of Frankford Road near Kelly Boulevard and the President George Bush Turnpike shortly before 1 p.m., where they found a male shot, according to a press release.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, and the male died at the scene, police said. The Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the male. No other details about him were immediately available.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and no other details about what led up to the shooting or any potential suspects were immediately available.
