A justice of the peace issued an autopsy for the man’s body, police said.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Police are investigating after a man was found dead at a home on West California Street in Nacogdoches Tuesday night.
According to the Nacogdoches Police Department, officers responded to multiple 911 calls about gunshots being heard in the area of Pearl St. and California Street around 9:14 p.m. Upon further investigation, officers found a residence in the 400 block of W. California St. that had been struck multiple times by gunfire.
A Hispanic man was found dead inside the home because of what looked like a gunshot wound. A justice of the peace issued an autopsy for the man’s body.
