FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Police Department is searching for a suspect accused of assaulting a woman on Sunday morning.
According to an Instagram post from the department, around 1 a.m., the suspect pulled a woman from her apartment in the 12000 block of Seton Lane, assaulted her and then threw her to the ground.
The incident was captured on video, and the woman could be seen falling to the ground in front of an apartment door. The suspect can be seen walking away from the scene.
Fort Worth PD said the suspect also took the woman’s phone.
After the alleged assault, the woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Her condition was not immediately clear.
Police describe the suspect as a Black woman between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-6, weighing about 200 pounds. She was seen in the video wearing a black hoodie and gray sweatpants.
