Programming Note: How to watch KXAN after transmitter damaged in ice storm

An ice storm during the first week of February damaged the KXAN transmitter site beyond repair. This affects all viewers who receive KXAN over the air. Cable customers should not be affected.

While we work to get the transmitter replaced, we are temporarily moving our KXAN signal to Channel 54.5. Just tune in there to receive all KXAN programming.

We will let everyone know when we are back on Channel 36.1 via programming notes at KXAN.com and our social media platforms. Thanks for watching KXAN!
