FORECAST
Prepare for afternoon highs between 100° and 106° the rest of this workweek including record highs predicted Wednesday and Thursday.
Relief is on the way by the weekend and into next week as the upper-level “heat high” moves away and opens the door for a potential rainmaker.
Don’t get too excited yet, but there’s a slight chance (20%) of rain everyday starting Friday and lasting into next week.
As of now, next week seems to hold more promise for rain, and as the time nears, there’s a chance we could boost rain chances a bit.🤞
All indications from ERCOT are that the energy grid will hold up through this latest heat wave.
