#1 – Here’s the Reason They Don’t Show the Wide Shot at Biden’s Events — by Nick Arama
Boy, that’s a pitiful look and just straight-up embarrassing.
There was that tiny group of people set up with the signs behind him. Other than a few police officers who were there, the people behind him looked like they were probably union people who were told to come out. They looked mostly like they wished they were anywhere else. There was a bigger group of folks in front of Biden. But nothing like the thousands that come out for President Donald Trump, so the attempt to make it look like that fell pretty flat. It just looked sad.

#2 – Joe Biden Crosses Lines in Grotesque National Address, Heckler Spoils His Party — by Bonchie
I’ve seen a lot of national addresses from US presidents over the years, as I’m sure many of you reading this have. I have never seen a speech like this, given under these circumstances. Presidents deliver campaign speeches, but they don’t call national addresses under the guise of their office to do so, and Biden’s attacks on tens of millions of Americans are unprecedented. You’d have to go back to Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” quip to find something similar in politics, but that was quaint compared to the president’s remarks.
There was one enjoyable part of the speech, though. A heckler decided to become a legend by spoiling Biden’s party.

#3 – Judge Hands Trump a Win in Fight Against FBI, Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth Follows — by Bonchie
You know you are over the target when the left-wing legal “experts” on the bird site start frothing at the mouth. Someone should ask them what they are so afraid of. How is transparency and accountability in this process a bad thing? Given the disputes over the records, it only makes sense that a hopefully neutral third party would be allowed to arbitrate between the two sides. The NARA is not all-powerful. It does not lord over the executive branch, and just because they say something doesn’t make it true or the law.
No one can be certain where this goes from here, but my suspicion is that this was more about generating bad headlines for Trump than actually building a criminal case against him. I actually came to that conclusion very early on following AG Merrick Garland’s presser on the matter. I just don’t see the DOJ ignoring the Hillary Clinton precedent regarding the handling of government records, and even if they tried to go that route, there are people on record saying the declassification order existed. It would lead to total chaos if Trump were charged (and presumably convicted given the DC jury pool) with a crime that the government gave Clinton a pass on, and she didn’t have the use of presidential powers as a defense.

#4 – Liz Cheney Throws a Tantrum at Ted Cruz, but He Decimates Her With the Perfect Response — by Nick Arama
That’s sort of hilarious and pretty sad coming from someone who threw out any principle that she claimed to have by throwing in with the Democrats. Imagine Cheney calling anyone else unprincipled. It’s a straight-up projection by someone trying to kiss the feet of Democrats for relevance. She’s becoming the bitter equivalent of Hillary Clinton, now that she’s adding stewing about her loss as well.
But Cruz, who has a great sense of humor and a good record of doing in those who try to take him on, finished her off with a simple response.

#5 – CNN Calls out Biden’s Use of Marines in Speech, Left Goes Wild in Response — by Nick Arama
“Whatever you think of this speech the military is supposed to be apolitical,” she said. “Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that. It’s wrong when Democrats do it. It’s wrong when Republicans do it.”
I don’t recall Republicans ever doing it.
But you know that when CNN is even pointing out the problems, that it may just be a backfire.
